Kaiwyn unveils latest single 'Cupidtised'

Australian singer-songwriter Kaiwyn has just released his latest single "Cupidtised" featuring the soulful vocals of Celyn Chow.

The track explores the theme of falling in love with a sense of hopefulness, despite past heartaches, offering a more optimistic perspective compared to his previous works. The title "Cupidtised" combines the words "Cupid" and "traumatized," conveying the idea of falling in love at first sight with awareness of potential surprises. Originally written on a train ride in 2010, the song evolved into a duet as Kaiwyn realized it would benefit from another voice.

The recording process included challenges like finding the right feature artist, eventually leading to a collaboration with Celyn Chow from Kuala Lumpur. The song's upbeat vibe is enhanced by pop punk and early 2000's pop rock influences, accompanied by playful xylophone and natural sounds, creating a complete listening experience.

"Cupidtised" showcases Kaiwyn's ability to infuse emotionally charged themes with a catchy pop sound, leaving listeners eagerly awaiting more from this talented artist. Check it out below.
