Ian Leding has released his new single, Leviathan, unearthing a long-buried gem from the early ’90s German gothic rock scene.

Written in 1991 but never properly recorded, until now, this track finally gets the release it deserves. The updated studio version stays true to its dark origins while infusing it with a modern, refined edge. Ian’s haunting vocals glide over a slow, atmospheric arrangement, steeped in tension and melancholic allure.

Leviathan isn’t just a nod to the past—it’s a resurrection, seamlessly blending nostalgic gloom with present-day sonic depth. The result is a compelling fusion of raw emotion and artistic evolution, both intimate and expansive.

More than a release, it’s a powerful statement of identity and endurance in the alternative scene. Ian Leding doesn’t chase trends, he revives legacies, and Leviathan is proof. Check out the single below.
