Jesse Blake Rundle has just released his new single, Continuous, Wait, which captures the emotional weight of personal transformation in a rich, four-minute alt-rock journey.

The song explores themes of stagnation and renewal, unfolding through layered guitar textures and raw, heartfelt vocals. It’s the first glimpse of his forthcoming album Wait, Sky, recorded in Boise with producer Lizzy Ellison, whose influence adds focus and emotional depth.

Atmospheric touches—including field recordings and a haunting tuba echoing from a riverbank—create a dreamlike, distant ache. Jesse, raised on hymns and now fully immersed in experimental sound, channels years of inner upheaval into something intimate yet universal.

With roots in Kansas and a creative rebirth in Idaho, his music merges poetic storytelling with sonic exploration, offering listeners a glimpse into a life re-imagined through sound. Check out Continuous, Wait below.
