Velodrone have recently released their new single Count to Three, which is a nostalgic-yet-fresh blend of ‘90s indie grit and melodic introspection.
The LA-based trio crafts a layered journey, opening with warm, fuzzy guitar tones that evolve into a dreamy, slightly darker energy. Pulsing bass lines and textured guitar swells build to a hypnotic “one, two…” refrain that lingers long after the final chord.

At its emotional core, the track reflects on the reversal of roles in relationships, realizing that the person you aimed to rescue might be the one rescuing you. Fronted by Marisa Dewa, whose rediscovered ‘90s demos reignited her musical drive, Velodrone fuses past and present with authenticity.
Joined by bassist Danielle Caseñas and drummer Zachary Bernstein, the band’s resurgence brings a dynamic soundscape to a new generation of alt-rock listeners. Check out Count to Three below.
