St. Divine, a dynamic five-piece from NYC, have just released their single New Kind of Kick, which serves as an edgy and energetic opener for their debut EP titled, you can’t go forward and you can’t go back.
The seven-track release blends six of their 2024 singles with a mystery bonus song and two bold covers. Formed when Will Croxton and Judy Ann Nock met while backing punk legend Ivan Julian, the group quickly evolved, enlisting scene veterans Mike Ratti, Al Maddy, Jesse Barnes, and Philip Yanos.

Croxton’s punk/Americana roots and Nock’s mystical rock flair merge into something raw yet refined. With gritty vocals, analog charm, and a distinctly NYC spirit, St. Divine’s sound feels both nostalgic and fresh.
New Kind of Kick sets the tone for a debut that’s wild, witchy, and wonderfully alive. Check out the single below.
