Kilravock unveils cover version of Black Sabbath’s Paranoid

Kilravock, the music project of Steven Wayne Smith, has just released a raw and heartfelt cover of Paranoid in tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne.
As a song tied deeply to Steven’s roots, as it was one of the first he mastered as a teen, this rendition feels more like a personal reflection than a calculated release. Known for steering clear of clichés, Steven hesitated at first to tackle Black Sabbath’s most iconic track. But the emotional pull proved stronger.

In just two days, he laid down every instrument and mixed the track himself. This cover also acts as a fitting companion piece to his upcoming album Just Another Wonderful Day, where themes of isolation echo throughout.
