Montreal’s Eternal Mourning have unveiled their new video for their single, Toxic Lovers, a stirring audiovisual piece that explores the fiery unraveling of a love gone wrong.
With visuals crafted by Joël Proulx Bouffard (VJ Droso), the video tells a raw, emotionally charged story of two souls consumed by their own passion. The band’s signature fusion of indie folk, baroque pop, and grunge serves as a haunting backdrop, heightening the emotional weight of each frame.

Philippe Mourani’s evocative vocals and lyrical intensity drive the piece, supported by intricate instrumentation from bandmates Ian Tower, Sean Mcdonald, and Jean-Luc Hébert. Following Eternal Mourning’s acclaimed debut, A Draft, this release hints at the introspective depths of their upcoming album, What I Saw Is History.
Toxic Lovers is Eternal Mourning’s heartbreak turned into art—unsettling, beautiful, unforgettable. Check out the video and single below.
