Wonderlick have just released their new single, Niagara Falls, 1969, which is a thoughtful and punchy teaser for their upcoming album Wonderlick Goes to War.
Sparked by a sight-seeing trip to the falls during their last summer’s tour, the track takes inspiration from the strange fact that the iconic site has been deliberately stopped more than once—echoing the album’s broader themes of awe and absurdity in human history.

With help from producer Dave Trumfio, Wonderlick’s fifth album melds social commentary with infectious hooks, shimmering synths, and guitar-driven urgency. Niagara Falls, 1969 is catchy yet contemplative, a reflection of the duo’s ability to turn odd historical trivia into compelling pop.
Expect the full album, a reflection on human highs and lows, this August, alongside a summer tour sure to be as engaging and unpredictable as their music. Check out Niagara Falls, 1969 below.
