Think Denim, dad, the Belgian artist Levi Parent’s solo project, returns with the shimmering single Well (Ain’t It Fun), which is one of four recent releases from a bold creative pivot.

Moving away from his usual lyrics-first songwriting, Levi embraced a freer, instinctive process, letting melodies emerge organically without overthinking. This looser approach resulted in 26 demos, recorded as inspiration struck, often in life’s quietest moments.

Well (Ain’t It Fun) captures this spontaneity with jangly guitar lines, luminous keys, and steady rhythms that pulse with understated charm. Instead of dissecting meaning early, Levi let the music evolve before shaping lyrics, drawing from subconscious threads. The result feels effortless yet intimate, a subtle revelation with each listen.

With hints at future experiments involving pianos and organs, Think Denim, dad’s artistic evolution is clearly just getting started, and this track offers a compelling glimpse into that journey. Check out Well (Ain’t It Fun) below.
