The New Citizen Kane unveils new album, The Tales of Morpheus

The New Citizen Kane has just released his new album, The Tales of Morpheus, in which he is blending electronic beats with influences from indie pop, jazz, blues, and even nu-disco.

Written, produced, and performed by Kane himself, the album marks a significant shift in his creative process, as he embraced full artistic control, crafting a deeply personal yet universally relatable work.

Standout tracks like Killer Charisma deliver infectious melodies alongside introspective lyrics, while Stupid Blue explores the emotional chaos of toxic relationships with bluesy guitars and trip-hop beats. The album’s diverse sound palette is reflected in songs like Alchemy, a sultry mix of pop and electronica.

Recorded in his home studio, The New Citizen Kane’s use of innovative tech adds a unique layer to the music, making this a highly creative and authentic release. Check out The Tales of Morpheus below.
