The Crystal Teardrop have released their debut album titled, ...Is Forming, which channels a kaleidoscopic fusion of retro rock styles with modern flair.

Rooted in the sonic landscapes of the late ’60s, the Stoke-on-Trent five-piece filters garage rock, psych-pop, and folk-tinged melodies through analog warmth. Recorded with producer Liam Watson at Tilehouse Studios, the album brims with vintage textures—phased tape, Mellotron swells, sitar shimmer, and vocals spun through Leslie speakers.

Tracks like Colours Changing and Through With You erupt with fuzzed-out guitars and swirling organ, while Two Hearts and Nine Times Nine embrace raga flourishes and dreamlike harmonies. Standouts include the buoyant Last Chance and melancholic For One More Day.

Released via Popclaw, ...Is Forming captures a nostalgic spirit without imitation. With live shows across the UK and Europe on the horizon, their psych revival is just beginning to bloom. Check out the album below.
