Synthonic has released his new album, Lampin’, which brings a smooth, retro-modern fusion that harks back to ‘90s acid jazz while weaving in contemporary flair.

Crafted over several years in a home studio, the album blends live instruments, synths, VSTs, and samples for rich, layered textures. Tracks like All Day, Every Day and Lampin’ highlight intricate horn harmonies and a laid-back, funky pulse. Notable contributions from Vasilis Xenopoulos, Jack Birchwood, Valere Speranza, and Jeremy Dunning elevate the groove.

With standout production techniques, like reversed Rhodes and sidechaining, the record feels nostalgic yet fresh. Following recent festival gigs, Synthonic cements a sound that’s both deeply rooted and future-facing. Check out Lampin’ below.
