Swooner unveil single 'Hospital Gown'

Chicago-based duo Swooner have unveiled their new single "Hospital Gown" from their debut EP "Resolved".

This release follows their shoegaze-inspired single "Please Let Me Explain" and showcases their unique blend of 80's post-punk, 90's Madchester, and early 2000's indie rock influences. The band, consisting of guitarist J Ben, and singer and keyboardist Martin Borsanyi, creates a warm soundscape with rich layers of guitars, vintage synthesizers, and catchy melodies.

"Hospital Gown" captivates with its rhythm, guitar riffs, and atmospheric vocals. The EP also features other intriguing tracks like "Go Home", which marries ethereal guitar tones with driving beats, "Resolved", a frenetic anthem filled with noise, and the remastered remastered “Explain".

Despite facing setbacks due to Martin's health challenges, the duo completed the project and is set to release another EP in early 2025, along with remixes and experimental offerings. Check out "Hospital Gown" below.
