The track is rhythmically intricate and harmonically rich, showcasing their talent for melding indie pop, R&B, rock, jazz, and world music. The American-Nigerian duo, Steve Petrinko and Dolapo Oladejo, began collaborating in 2021, quickly forming a strong friendship and creative bond.

Their production company, Steve and Dolapo Productions, was established in 2024, and their debut full-length album, Companion, was released in May 2024.
