Starks Daemon unveils new single, Unchain
Starks Daemon has released his latest single, Unchain, through Indian River Music Company.
A prominent figure in the African metal scene, Starks Daemon has made a name for himself as the frontman of Wrust for over two decades. As a talented songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, and producer, he has shared stages with some of the most significant metal acts both locally and internationally.
In late 2023, Starks Daemon decided to carve out his path as a solo artist, inspired by numerous lineup changes within Wrust. He began reworking songs originally intended for the band's upcoming album, infusing them with melodic vocals alongside powerful guitar riffs, while enhancing the grooves and rhythmic accessibility.
His journey began with re-recording Wrust's first ballad, Too Deep, before moving on to the creation of Unchain, showcasing his evolution as a musician. Check out the single below.
