Mr. Wizard releases new single 'Boulders'
Hailing from the outskirts of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. Wizard is an alternative grunge punk band making waves in the music scene.
Their latest single "Boulders" marks the beginning of a new musical chapter for the band, just released through the London label The Animal Farm.
Mr. Wizard's sound is a nostalgic nod to the golden era of garage rock, infused with elements of punk and grunge reminiscent of the 90's. The founder, Garrett Gates, draws inspiration from his musical upbringing, having ventured into the world of music from a young age playing violin, piano, and bass, and eventually founding Mr. Wizard as an outlet to explore his creative vision, after years of touring and recording with the band Dosed.
With a successful debut EP "I Know I Don't Know" and a follow-up "Strangers Aren't So Strange", Mr. Wizard is gearing up to unleash a series of singles in 2024, captivating audiences with their raw and authentic approach to rock music.
