Matt C. White's album, Punishers

Brooklyn’s Matt C. White dives deep into New York’s chaotic nightlife with Punishers, his bold new 10-track album.

Recorded solo in his Bushwick studio and polished with mastering help from Matt Labozza, the record fuses grunge, classic rock, and metal into a gritty sonic trip. Matt’s signature baritone guitar and sharp vocals drive vivid tales of unruly bar encounters and eccentric late-night characters.

Inspired by the “punishers” who trap you in boozy conversations, the album captures that frenzied energy—especially on Remember, where shifting tempos and unraveling spoken-word passages mimic an alcohol-fueled spiral.

Punishers pushes Matt’s creative boundaries while staying grounded in the raw intensity fans know from his Creepshow Peepshow series. He’ll bring the full experience live in August at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Check out a single from the album below.
