Mark Vennis & Different Place have unveiled their latest single In These Times..., marking an exciting evolution in their sound.
Retaining their punk rock essence, the band delivers a richer, more melodic experience infused with sharp social observations. Hailing from Petersfield, they channel influences from iconic acts like The Clash and The Kinks, establishing themselves as a significant contemporary voice in music.

This new track features intense guitar work from Mark Vennis and Sean Quinn, complemented by Dave Sweetenham’s reggae-infused bass lines. Recorded at Laundry Studios, In These Times... serves as a precursor to their upcoming EP, Sunrise, set for release in November. The song’s driving riff and chaotic energy reflect the struggles of daily life while providing a glimpse of respite amid turmoil.
Alongside the single, there is also a remixed track, Sure Ain’t No Crime, showcasing the band’s innovative spirit and commitment to authentic storytelling. Check out In These Times... below.
