Marble Raft's new single, Rites of Passage
Marble Raft have just released their enchanting new single, Rites of Passage, a mesmerizing journey through dream pop that traverses a barren cityscape in search of solace.
Comprising friends Olle Söderström and Gabrielle Werme Baker, the Swedish duo crafts escapist melodies that blend alternative pop with a dreamy aesthetic. Their prior work, Geography A, earned critical acclaim, and Rites of Passage promises to elevate their sound even further.

This track serves as the initial taste of their forthcoming album, Dear Infrastructure, set to be released in the spring of 2025. With its glittering indie pop and shoegaze vibes, the song envelops listeners in warmth against a chilly urban backdrop.
The duo's vocals lay on a bed of intricate layers of buzzing synths, resonant guitars, haunting autoharp and mellotron, resulting in a deeply immersive experience, inviting audiences to lose themselves in its ethereal soundscapes. Check out Rites of Passage below.
