Kat Reinhert unveils new single, Runnin’

NYC-based singer-songwriter Kat Reinhert has unveiled her latest single, Runnin’, which showcases her transformative journey and growth as an artist.


Currently a professor of songwriting at Berklee College of Music, Kat Reinhert's impressive portfolio spans albums, podcasts, and even children’s music.



Drawing from her diverse influences in jazz, folk, and contemporary styles, this track embraces a fresh blend of singer-songwriter and folk elements. The track was produced by Kat and Ross Pederson, it features Jesse Lewis, Perry Smith, Matt Aronoff, Ross Pederson and David Cook.


Runnin’ reflects Kat's personal journey, inspired by witnessing friends leave New York in search of what truly matters to them. She connects this experience with her own move from Wisconsin, realizing that her journey was about pursuing meaningful aspirations rather than escaping. Check out the single below.
