Jackson Mathod unveis new single titled 'Mandible'

Emerging jazz talent Jackson Mathod has just released his single "Mandible" as a preview of his upcoming EP "Studio Natives Vol. 1" set to be released on November 29.

The track opens with a nod to the legendary Jaws theme, quickly evolving to showcase Jackson's signature instrument, the trumpet. The vibrant composition features electric keys during its quieter moments, which seamlessly transition into dynamic trumpet solos that dazzle alongside an energetic full band.

Jackson celebrates the trumpet’s versatility, familiar to music lovers across various genres. While the trumpet remains his primary focus, he also expresses a deep appreciation for the piano, reminiscing about the influence of Bill Evans on his musical journey.
