HalfCutLemon unveil new single, Ointment

Danish alt-rock band HalfCutLemon have released their latest single, Ointment, offering a striking preview of their upcoming album This Ain’t Real.

Channeling punk’s raw urgency with moody, melodic undercurrents, the track dives into the uneasy terrain of youth and the façades we wear—through faith, style, or social roles—to hide inner fragility. Produced by the legendary Flemming Rasmussen at Sweet Silence Studio, Ointment doesn’t just pack emotional weight, it also showcases a lush sonic landscape.

The midsection swells with strings and cello courtesy of composer Peter Kyed, while underground legend Peter Peter lends haunting backing vocals. HalfCutLemon continues to blur genre lines, delivering a sound both cinematic and confrontational.
