dr.rift, the musical project of Kyle Halldorson from Winnipeg, Canada, has unveiled his latest single titled No Death.

Blending psych rock, folk, indie, and progressive elements, the track is a deeply personal reflection on life’s transformative moments. Written during the end of a long-term relationship, it captures the bittersweet realization that personal growth often comes from change and divergence.

Inspired by the haunting landscape of the Stony Mountain quarry, the song’s ethereal quality mirrors the artist’s journey toward renewal. Featuring contributions from Tanner Stregger, Evelyn McKinley, Tirian Plett, and Edward Oakes, No Death showcases a unique fusion of intricate instrumentation and complex rhythms.

The track further solidifies dr.rift’s ability to create music that is both emotionally intimate and sonically expansive. Check out No Death below.
